The Princeps Puzzle from Popular Electronics (I think). The puzzle starts with all lights on and with the 8 buttons you try to turn them off. Circuit uses TTL logic and has about 128 steps needed to turn off the lights. Built in a box and having gone through a flood and abuse, it still works. Built 8/71.
